Byond Barre x NaliniKIDS Giving Partnership

About the Giving Partnership

Join us. Give back. Get moving.

At Byond Barre we believe that movement is not just about the body—it’s also about the community we build, the lives we lift, and the change we choose to make together. For years we’ve committed to donating 10% of our proceeds to organizations that are changing this world for the better—and now we are taking that commitment even further.

As of October 2025, 10% of our proceeds are donated to NaliniKIDS, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on building the same healthy physical + emotional habits in children and youth that we experience in our very own studio classes!

Founder of NaliniKIDS and Byond Barre Instructor, Rupa Mehta will also be offering her famous Nalini Method class at our Lambertville location with 100% of her class proceeds donated to NaliniKIDS! Click here to sign up for class and experience her signature, challenging class that offers the benefits of a personal trainer in an energized group atmosphere.

We invite you to join us as we reach Byond our doors into our communities to help children nationwide feel healthier and happier.

THE PURPOSE IN OUR MISSION

Strength in Numbers

We’ve always believed that as a fitness community, our work is both inner and outer: building strength in ourselves and also strengthening our community.

Active Impact

Through our giving plan, you don’t just support change—you get to participate in it. Your donation is honoured with a class credit(s) so you can show up for yourself and for others.

Full Support

With this partnership, Byond Barre is directing 100% of the proceeds from these giving plans to NaliniKIDS — it’s not a partial donation, it’s full support.

Founded by Rupa Mehta, NaliniKIDS offers programs that integrate physical movement and emotional literacy for children and youth. Their mission is rooted in the belief that students thrive when they are both physically active and emotionally aware.

About Byond Barre Instructor and NaliniKIDS Founder

Rupa Mehta

Rupa Mehta is a teacher, author, wellness expert, and trailblazer in education. A first-generation Indian American, Rupa's approach to wellness has been influenced by eastern and western philosophies, and emphasizes the connection between mind and body.

Rupa founded the Nalini Method in 2003, an adult workout experience that strengthens both the body and the mind. As her adult clients became more confident, empowered and energized, they encouraged her to bring her philosophy to kids. In 2009, Rupa founded NaliniKIDS as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on helping students make healthy physical and emotional connections so they can be engaged in learning and positively impacting their communities.

She has since published over 40 curriculum books and appeared in many national outlets, including in Forbes, on PBS, and in the New York Times. She is a frequent speaker at leadership conferences and education training programs.
